mens retreat jan 2013

The men’s winter retreat will be held Jan. 24-26, 2020 at Lutheranch Holy Trinity House. Our spiritual leader for the weekend retreat will be the Reverend Jay White. Jay has worked as a tradesman, state trooper, production manager, mental health director, and pastor. He retired from Lawrenceville First Christian Church in 2017. He continues his ministry as a regional elder for the Ga. Christian Church and as a Spiritual Director for the Ga. Disciple Men. He and his wife Sandy have 5 children and 4 grandsons. His hobbies include art, music, reading, motorcycles and “hitting the gym”. He holds graduate degrees in business, theology, and counseling plus a D. Min. from Va. Union University. He is also very active at the Lawrenceville Co-op and Grayson Elementary School. His motto is simply—” I am who I am in the eyes of God-nothing more and nothing less.”


Jay is excited to join us, and he is busy planning for the retreat and is looking forward to sharing with the men of AGLC.


Although all of us are not retired we are all in the second half of life. The overall theme for the retreat – “Finding Meaning in the Second Half of Life”.

The cost of the retreat will be $85.00.
